Abstract

Abstract. The research was conducted at the Impi Hotel. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of employee competence and workload simultaneously and partially on employee performance. The population in this study were 42 employees. The research variables used were the competence and workload of employees as independent variables and employee performance as the dependent variable. The data analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis. Partial calculations, the effect of employee competence on employee performance and the effect of workload on employee performance. Data collection techniques through observation, documentation, questionnaires and literature study. The results of this study indicate that competence and workload do not have a simultaneous effect on performance. Fcount 2.524 > Ftable 1.68288 then H0 is rejected. This means that Work Competence (X1) and Workload (X2) simultaneously affect the dependent variable, namely Performance (Y).
