Abstract

The need for seasoning dough in various types of culinary is needed, where culinary actors usually make spices in quite a lot of capacity. There are even some small intestine entrepreneurs producing spices. Various technologies have been applied in the processing of spices and various seasoning ingredients to become seasoning dough, but not many technologies have been applied in the process of seasoning stirring in the seasoning frying process. In addition to fatigue in the arm muscles, workers receive heat exposure from a gas stove and inhale fumes from gas stoves that are not good for the human lungs. This research aims to make it easier and easier for the spice business actors to produce spices. To get products that can be used optimally by these business actors, several stages of design are needed, such as the initial data requirements regarding production capacity, the mode of production currently undertaken by business actors and current working conditions. Based on these preliminary data, a spice mixer will be designed through several mechanical and ergonomic study considerations so that an appropriate product is produced. From the design results that are created are realized through the production process and then after the finished product will be tested to get maximum product results. The results obtained in this study are a seasoning mixer using an electric motor drive motor capacity of 0.5 PK, with the successor to the V Belt power. The capacity of spices produced in one process is 5 kg. This seasoning mixer can increase the workmanship of the crafters by 180%.
