Abstract

Solar energy is a source of energy that can be called very abundant, clean, free from pollution, and will not run out all the time. Solar panels are equipment capable of converting solar energy into electrical energy. The purpose of this study was to find out the maximum value of the inclination angle of 0°, 15°, 30°, 45° and to find out the maximum value on placement with the direction of the north, south, east, and west. This study used direct testing method on a solar panel system module device type polycrystalline 100 Wp, solar charge controller model SC-30DD, battery 12V/100A, Inverter 220V/1000W. This test was conducted on different days with a combination of the angle of inclination of the solar panels and the solar panel direction. The parameters observed include solar radiation intensity, photovoltaic module temperature, environmental temperature, relative humidity of air, voltage and current out from solar panels, AC and DC current against time. The maximum output power value obtained based on the angle of inclination with the combination of solar panel direction is 30° northwards. While a tilt angle of 15° is the angle that provides the greatest power value.
