Abstract

This model is designed and developed to affix learning needs for students of Tourism department, Bali State Polytechnic. The development covered modifying and developing the conventional learning module to be pragmatic-based. The module of English for Tourism included pragmatic aspects such as power, distance and rank of imposition based on which expressions, sentences, utterances are adjusted in order for the students to recognize and be able to use contextually appropriate expressions.
