Abstract

In the implementation of working capital loans, banks need to have the right systems and procedures, in order to minimize the occurrence of non-performing loans. The high value of non-performing loans can have a negative impact on the bank. The objective of this study was to determine the capital lending system and the settlement of non-performing loans at PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Bali Tabanan Branch Office. The type of research used in this study is descriptive qualitative research. The data obtained through interviews, observation, and documentation. According to the analysis of the data obtained, it shows that the system of providing working capital credit has not been carried out optimally in accordance with predetermined regulations. The cause of the occurrence of non-performing loans at PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Bali Tabanan Branch Office is from internal and external factors. Internal factors: the lack of selective banks in the analysis of lending and the weakness of the credit supervision system. External factors : bad debtor character and a decline in economic conditions. Settlement of non-performing loans is carried out by making changes to credit administration, being notified directly, being given a warning letter, and using legal channels.
