Abstract
This research objective are to analyze what are the key challenges in the current implementation of Community Based Tourism (CBT) and give a model for the sustainability of community-based tourism village management in Cemagi tourist village, Badung, Bali. In this study using Qualitative methods, data sources are primary and secondary which are obtained directly by observation, interview, focus group discussions and document studies. data analysis techniques used in this study are SWOT analysis and descriptive qualitative by reducing data which is then presented and concluded in the form of narrative text The results of this study found that Cemagi tourist village needs to implement steps to overcome challenges in management, namely the need to cooperate with tourism stakeholders to increase promotion, especially through social media to introduce the potential of Cemagi tourist village, then maintain and preserve the natural potential and cultural heritage that already exists as the advantages of Cemagi village as a tourist village. Furthermore, the community-based management model for the sustainability of the tourism village Trustees, namely the Cemagi village government and customs, managers, namely BUMDes, Pokdarwis and community participation. refers to the management theory covering Planning, Organizing, Actuating and Controlling refers to sustainability aspects. from the economic aspect of increasing village income, employment and equitable distribution through BUMDes. Then the social and cultural side, namely maintaining cultural heritage sites, increasing human resources through tourism training and participating in the arts through traditional dance and traditional music. The last is from the environmental aspect, namely preserving the green environment (subak), waste management (3R), and preserving the natural potential of Cemagi village.
