Abstract

Employee training through the TYPSY platform is online training which is an option for developing employee skills and knowledge in the current digital era. The company invests a number of training costs by registering employees on the TYPSY platform so that employees can carry out training independently, but not all registered employees take advantage of this. The author wants to evaluate the implementation of employee training using the TYPSY platform using the Context, Input, Process, Product method at Novotel Bali Nusa Dua and to find out the obstacles that existed during the training. This research is qualitative research with a case study approach. Data collection was carried out by interviewing 3 employees from different departments, the data was then reduced into main themes using the Context, Input, Process, Product (CIPP) evaluation method. The research results show that this training provides positive benefits for employees in improving their skills and knowledge in the hospitality sector in general which can be applied in their daily work. There were several obstacles encountered during training, especially those related to technical problems and problems in managing time for conducting training. The recommendation that can be given from this research is how to design a more effective online learning strategy, which is described in more detail in the Online Training Standard Operation Procedure (SOP).
