Abstract

This final project discusses the managerial strategies implemented in the application of compensation and work discipline to improve employee performance at Bloom Restaurant Seminyak. The study stems from various performance-related issues, including poor service quality, low employee discipline, and suboptimal compensation systems, which were identified through customer reviews and internal performance indicators. The research aims to analyze how managerial strategies related to compensation and discipline affect the overall performance of employees. This research uses a quantitative method with a SWOT analysis approach. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and questionnaires distributed to 47 employees. The results of the study indicate that both compensation and work discipline significantly influence employee performance. Managerial strategies that focus on structured incentives, fair reward systems, and strict enforcement of discipline improve employee productivity, service quality, and responsibility. The study recommends improvements in compensation structures and strengthening work discipline policies to enhance employee performance and customer satisfaction.
