Abstract

This research aims to examine the partial and simultaneous effects of employee engagement and job satisfaction on turnover intention. The study was conducted at Sadara Resort, with a population consisting of all employees, and a total of 52 respondents selected as the research sample. The data analysis techniques employed in this study include validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, correlation analysis, coefficient of determination test, F-test, and t-test. The findings reveal that employee engagement has a significant negative effect on turnover intention, as does job satisfaction. Furthermore, both variables simultaneously exert a significant negative influence on turnover intention. Based on these results, it is recommended that Sadara Resort regularly conduct training programs to enhance employee competencies, enabling them to stay focused and engaged in their work. It is also suggested that management evaluate the distribution of tasks among employees and develop more appropriate job assignment policies that align with each employee’s role and capabilities to ensure a balanced workload.
