Abstract

This study aims to design and implement an Internet of Things (IoT)-Based Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) Leakage Monitoring and Volume Control System. The system employs a gas sensor to detect leakage and a water flow sensor to measure flow and estimate the remaining LPG volume. Data collected from the sensors is processed by a microcontroller and transmitted in real time to the Blynk application, enabling users to remotely monitor LPG cylinder conditions. Hazard notifications are automatically sent via the application and reinforced with LED indicators as local alerts. Test results indicate that the system can detect gas leakage and LPG volume changes with good accuracy, providing a fast response in activating warning alarms and automatic control systems. This system is expected to enhance LPG user safety and minimize the risk of accidents caused by gas leaks.
