Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of internal control and leadership style on employee performance at PT Bali Pawiwahan Head Office. The population in this study were all employees of the PT Bali Pawiwahan Head Office. By using the Slovin formula, the minimum sample in this study was 60 employees at the head office of PT Bali Pawiwahan. This research uses a questionnaire that has been designed and has been tested for validity and reliability as a data collection tool, then the data is analyzed using multiple linear regression techniques and statistical hypothesis testing. The results of this research indicate that internal control has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The better the internal control, the more employee performance at the PT Bali Pawiwahan head office will increase. Leadership style has a positive and insignificant effect on employee performance at the PT Bali Pawiwahan head office. Then the internal control variables and leadership style simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the PT Bali Pawiwahan head office. The Adjusted R Square value is 0.247 or 24.7%. This value shows that 24.7% of employee performance can be explained by the independent variables in this research while the remaining 0.753 or 75.3% is influenced by other variables outside the variables of this research.
