Abstract

Besides having administrative villages and urban villages, Bali Island also has villages with original autonomy known as Desa Adat or Desa Pakraman. The Bali Provincial Government has a community-owned financial institution at the village level called LPD (Lembaga Perkreditan Desa). The establishment and development of LPD in Bali are essentially aimed at assisting development in each Desa Adat and serving as a strength to preserve local customs. The important role of LPD is strongly felt by the community, especially to support activities such as odalan and major Hindu religious holidays. This study aims to examine the influence of financial literacy and digital technology usage on the intention to transact at LPD Desa Adat Penarungan. The research uses a quantitative approach. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple regression. The results found that financial literacy and digital technology usage have a positive and significant effect on the intention to transact at LPD Desa Adat Penarungan. It is recommended that LPD Desa Adat Penarungan conduct socialization of the use of the digital application m-Pise, which will ultimately provide a positive impact on LPD Desa Adat Penarungan.
