Abstract

Leave management at Prasana by Arjani Resorts is still done manually using paper forms, making it difficult for employees to monitor their leave balances. Many requests are submitted without the official leave request form, while leave deductions and additions are poorly documented. This leads to an accumulation of unused leave rights that are hard to track based on their validity period, causing challenges for the Human Resources Department (HRD) to manage leave effectively. To overcome these issues, this study proposes a web-based leave management information sistem mockup to support the company in improving the process and serve as a reference for further development. The research uses Research and Development (R&D) with a Computer-Based Instruction (CBI) model consisting of three stages: plan, development, and evaluation. The planning stage includes problem identification, user needs analysis, and literature study to establish sistem requirements. The development stage creates workflow designs and a sistem mockup based on the analysis, while the evaluation stage uses usability testing to assess effectiveness and ease of use. The result of this study is a web-based leave management mockup and prototype that optimizes submission, approval, entitlement allocation, and leave recording in a structured and efficient manner. Usability testing shows the proposed design can improve effectiveness, simplify monitoring of leave validity, and provide transparent information access for both employees and HRD.
