Abstract

This research aims to determine the implementation of Green Practice that have been applied by the Courtyard by Marriott Bali Seminyak Resort to support the Green Key. Data collection in this study was carried out through interviews, observations, and documentation. The selection of informants for this research used a purposive method by establishing key informants. The data analysis method used is descriptive qualitative analysis to examine the application of Green Practice in supporting the Green Key program at the Courtyard by Marriott Bali Seminyak Resort. The results of this research show that the Courtyard by Marriott Bali Seminyak Resort has maximally implemented Green Practices and met all the tested indicators. To determine how the implementation of Green Practices supports the Green Key a matching was conducted between the indicators of Green Practices and the indicators of Green Key. Out of a total of 22 matched indicators, there is 1 Green Key indicator that has not been maximally implemented in the Green Product program, which is the washing and cleaning indicator, because the hotel is still using synthetic chemical cleaners. Other results indicate that there is 1 Green Key indicator that has not been implemented in the Green Action program, which is the energy indicator, because the hotel has not yet used renewable energy such as solar panels and is still using electricity as the main energy source.
